459 XENOSAL fluorine insulating agent

XENOSAL is a transparent impregnating agent for strengthening mineral substrates. The magnesium and zinc compounds penetrate deep into the substrate and react with the set mortar and sand. XENOSAL can therefore also be used to prevent efflorescence (saltpetre, etc.) on masonry. Due to the complex nature of salt efflorescence, XENOSAL fluorine insulating agent does not offer absolute protection against further efflorescence. In many cases, however, treatment with XENOSAL is sufficient and is therefore an efficient and cost-effective option before undertaking an expensive damage analysis followed by renovation of the masonry.
